Iseen Jahsenye is a reggae singer-songwriter from Suriname, now based in Georgia, USA, whose music is rooted in authenticity, purpose, and lived experience. Influenced by Bob Marley, Sizzla Kalonji, and Papa Touwtjie, he creates roots reggae, conscious reggae, and dancehall that explore faith, resilience, identity, hope, and self-worth.

Living with a stutter shaped his journey, and music became the voice he struggled to find in everyday life. Before releasing his own music, he performed for Rastafari communities and cultural events throughout Suriname and neighboring countries, later organizing and headlining his first independent concert.

His move from Suriname to Georgia broadened his perspective, strengthened his commitment to his craft, and deepened his message. His songs reflects his personal journey and invites listeners to hold on to hope, embrace who they are, and trust that, through Jah, they can overcome life’s challenges.
